The American Cornerstone Institute was founded by Dr. Ben Carson, renowned pediatric neurosurgeon and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. The American Cornerstone Institute donated “Why America Matters” to the Moms for Libraries program.

“Why America Matters” is an illustrated children’s book perfect for ages 3-10, or grade levels 1 – 2. The book explores the importance of historical American values and traditions based on faith, liberty, community, and life. 

You can get your own copies at Little Patriots. All proceeds from Dr. Carson’s books go towards the Little Patriots program for cartoons, classes, activities, videos, and printable workbooks free of charge for parents, teachers, and schools.
